GSM PTFE Hose Cutting Methods

There are several methods of effectively cutting Stainless Braided Teflon Hose

For nominal ID hose:

1. Metal Cutting Wheel...non scalloped like is used to cut Hydraulic hose
1. Since our braid doesn't flare much on the female side of the braid, there is no need to Tape the Braid
2. Beverly Shear...it flattens the hose...but does a nice job cutting the hose and braid.
1. We offer a simple ferrule tool which assists in putting on the collars
3. Thin, abrasive blade...much like the hose shown in Everflex's assembly procedure...
1. This works well, except creates a lot of dirt and dust, and many times you need to tape the braid

For Convoluted hose:

1. Metal Cutting Wheel...non scalloped like is used to cut Hydraulic hose

For rubber covered PTFE/Food hose:
